ALASD website redesign

August 28, 2010

Many small organizations are finding that their websites, created in-house over the past decade, aren’t keeping up with Web 2.0 standards. The Alexandria Lake Area Sanitary District (ALASD) was in this position, and before embarking on a major public outreach campaign, chose to have their website completely rebuilt. My aim with reworking this site was to improve organization, usability and aesthetics. As an added benefit, the site can be admined by even the least tech-savy in the organization. The new site can be viewed at www.alasdistrict.org.
